That a son of the ex-kaiser of Germany was a cheerleader at a Hitler rally before Sunday's election, was the statement made in a despatch from Berlin. It would appear, therefore, that even the kaiser and his family are in favor of the revolutionary elements united under the banner of Hitler as against the republic of which Von Hindenburg is the president. Should Hitler and his fascist followers attain control of the country, one of their first acts would be the repudiation of all foreign loans, including, of course, the war loans advanced by the United States. This would further complicate the collection of installments and interest due the United States on such loans to Germany, and equally so with the debtor nations that depended upon the payment of German reparations in order to meet their own indebtedness.
