Open Wounds [2.5.32]

The young, Russian-featured woman makes her way to her dorm room with haste. Her jacket is draped over one side of her, and droplets of blood are left in a trail behind her. Once in her room she lets out a breath of air she'd been holding for some time, and curses in an unfamiliar language very quietly under her breath. She lets the jacket fall towards the ground, her back against the door for dear life. With her minor medical skills, she peels her clothing out of her open wound and cuts off the blood supply with a makeshift tourniquet to stop the bleeding. She slowly and methodically tends to the wound, and throws on a loose, long-sleeved shirt for concealment.

A satchel concealed closely to her person is somewhere present. The bruised woman makes her way back through campus, searching for droplets of blood to clean up on the way to the library.

Anastasia will find Beckard Laine the East Miskatonic Janitor, dutifully cleaning up after her. He's whistling a funny tune. The fall from the building hurt her shins and her knees, there was also a pronounced limp to her gait that caused the few students who were still out at this time of night (10pmish) to give her looks of concern, but not enough to offer to help her. Her bleeding had stopped due to her self ministrations but, she would need to change the dressing soon. Especially with all this unecessary motion. Her common sense nearly screamed at her to go back to her dorm and rest and recover. Unfortunately her need to know the contents of the diary could not be pacified.

She makes it to the library, but feels like that journal in her satchel is burning a hole into it. The curiosity is nearly overwhelming...

Ana limps slowly back to her dorm, moving as cautiously as one is able in this state, and locks the door behind her. Her shirt was soaked in blood. She hadn't tended to the wound in time.

She attempts to tend to her wound again, but she is out of supplies. She lies down, clutching the diary close to her chest.
